Rates for Babysitting At Babysitter’s Home
The rates depend on the babysitting arrangements needed but broadly classified as follows :

Monthly fee is between $550 and $600

Babysitting at babysitter's 5 days per week - Mon to Fri (10 to 12 hours) and alternate Saturday half day (5 to 6 hours)
Monthly fee is between $580 and $630 |

Babysitting at babysitter's 5½ days per week – Mon to Fri (10 to 12 hours) and all Saturdays half day (5 to 6 hours)
Monthly fee is $650 |

Additional Information (for Babysitting at Babysitter's)
- The above rates are just a guide. We will always try to negotiate the best rates and the timing needed to suit your specific requirements and budget in tandem with the experience of the nanny.
- Nanny usually request for a top up of $50 to $100 upon the child commencing on solids. We propose 6 months old but may vary with each child. Nanny will be responsible to purchase and prepare 2 meals for the child per day.
Babysitters babysitting at client’s home
Some parents prefer to have the nanny come to the home to look after their child so that the child will have a familiar environment. Others choose this option as grandparents may be too old to take care of the child and the nanny doubles up as companion to grandparents or we call them granny sitter.
Having the nanny to babysit at client’s home is gaining popularity although this option is slightly more expensive than having the babysitter babysit in her own home.
Rates for Babysitting At Babysitter's Home
The rates will depend very much on the number of hours per day and number of days per week that the nanny is needed. Clients have the option of having the nanny comes in on
| 1. Full time basis |
babysitter works daily (Mon to Fri) usually for a maximum of 10 hours per day and is paid a monthly fee of at least $1300 |
| 2. Part time basis |
babysitter works on scheduled days and times stipulated by client. Babysitters are usually paid hourly rate of $12 |
| 3. Ad hoc basis |
Babysitters can also be engaged on an ad hoc basis when you need a break to go for a romantic dinner with your spouse or attend special occasions which may not be convenient for you to bring your child along |
Please note that babysitters will perform all duties pertaining to the child in her care. Household chores are usually not included. However, we do have some nannies who do not mind doing light housework while the child is sleeping. If you have such requirements, please advise us in advance so that we would only put forward candidates that match the job specifications.
